This is a chase-style animated short film. Its main inspiration comes from books such as 《Grandpa’s Old House at Number 13》and《Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland》, as well as asymmetrical competitive games like《Dead by Daylight》and《FuhNaff》. The film primarily showcases the expression and use of Western fantasy and horror elements. It does not inherently contain any deeper symbolic meaning.
The animation portion of this project was entirely hand-keyed, without using any motion capture technology. To ensure the final product’s quality, the final animation and scene presentation were all completed within Unreal Engine 5. This included lighting setup, scene expansion, texture calibration, and camera design. Real-time rendering and lighting enhancements were also optimized to ensure the best viewing experience.
The project was designed and produced using software such as Maya and Unreal Engine 5. Some model assets underwent secondary rigging and optimization adjustments using Maya.
