Abstract & Aims:

The central aim of my work is to bridge the gap between traditional Chinese fashion techniques and contemporary digital methods. By integrating these two worlds, I seek to preserve cultural narratives while pushing the boundaries of what fashion can represent in a digital future. My project challenges the fast-paced nature of modern fashion by introducing a mindful, heritage-focused approach that honors the past while looking towards the future.

Submission Details:

As requested, I am submitting four animated videos:

1. Fashion Film Short– A narrative-driven short film that explores the spiritual transmission of traditional culture. It illustrates the harmony between gods and humans and conveys the idea of how this symbiotic relationship can lead us to a better future while encouraging self-discovery.

2. Full Collection Overview– A video showcasing the entire fashion series, highlighting the seamless blend of tradition and modernity in the designs.

3. Detail Showcase #1– A close-up presentation focusing on the intricate details of three outfits designed for one character, reflecting their unique role and identity.

4. Detail Showcase #2– Another detailed view featuring three outfits for a different character, emphasizing the distinct aspects that define their persona and narrative.

These videos represent my vision of combining cultural heritage with cutting-edge digital innovation, illustrating how fashion can be a powerful medium for both preserving tradition and pioneering the future.
