Thank you for your interest in my thesis project on sustainable and green bus shelter design.
In today’s rapidly urbanizing world, the need for public transportation infrastructure that is both functional and environmentally sustainable has never been more pressing. This project focuses on reimagining the traditional bus shelter to better serve the needs of modern cities like London while minimizing environmental impact.
The core of my thesis is the design of a fully enclosed bus shelter tailored specifically for London’s urban landscape. This shelter goes beyond the basic requirements of providing a safe and comfortable space for passengers; it integrates sustainable technologies and materials to create a greener and more efficient public space.
It also integrates electric kick scooter station. Electric kick scooters help ease traffic, produce no emissions, and are an affordable alternative to cars, thereby resolving the first- and last-mile issues.
