Theme

I have chosen to show two pieces of work from Project 06. The site is located in Valencia utilising the market near by for fish and meat, whilst growing vegetables, I chose to create a youth centre where they are able to learn important life skills, most importantly to cook. These spaces are created using curved furniture, from placing circles onto a grid and cutting into them. I wanted to create playful spaces to learn and hang out. These pieces I feel portray my programme well.

I have also included a plan from my archive project in year 2. The resonance chambers, in favour for the deaf. A musical infrastructure to embrace through the feel of vibration. Four musicians who have hearing impairment, has an interactive “resonance chamber” dedicated to an instrument that they play through vibration. Creating a building around deaf space.
