Starting out as a volunteer in a non-profit organization, Future Heroes, an Estonian multi-disciplinary creative quickly realized that her true desire was to have a positive impact on everyone she meets and on the communities around her. She continued her journey in the UK, where she did a Media and Promotion degree at the University for the Creative Arts.
Jana produces multi-levelled pieces of work that have distinct meanings to them – as the end goal is to get people to act on the content they consume. The sense of being part of the story is further enhanced by the academic and cultural references as well as the everyday life observations, trends, and market needs.
Final Major Project: ‘Who am I? The psychology of being self’ is a series of works that are backed up by academic research on identity and performing oneself and are put through the lens of my personality and interests. The final outcome takes the form of an exhibition catalogue. The projects produced are a podcast episode, a shoot, 3D designs, a dance video, postcards, a self-portrait collage, and motivational reels that are created in collaboration with emerging artists, family members, and friends.
