The long term patience of adults brings a lot of negative emotions, like a mountain that weighs us down and makes us break down, if these emotions are not vented out, they can affect our body and even our spirit.
By designing my own font, I hope to be able to have a room for my emotions without being discovered by others, and to store my emotions and write my own emotional diary. My work is mainly expressed through three aspects: “text”, “sound” and “graphics”.
Words: By setting the wavelength of each letter, for example pink, green is the short wavelength, blue is the medium wavelength and yellow is the longest wavelength. Each letter is combined by a wavelength and the words are combined by letters.
Sound: The letters are combined by the transmitter according to the wavelengths short, medium and long, and the letters are then combined to form words.
Patterns:I have designed several patterns of stem emotions such as happy, crying, perfect, angry, anger etc. I have designed calendar blind boxes where you can stick the daily emotion pattern onto the calendar grid and each grid is then put into the stamp belonging to that day. This can be used as a memory store of emotions.
And I made the mood patterns into clay devices and prepared four glass shades, each representing a week, into which I put each day’s mood, so that I could visually see the emotional state of the week. A glass bucket is a storage device for the month’s emotions. If there is a lot of anger and sadness in that month, you can look through the blind box and thus adjust your emotions and state of mind for each good next month.
I hope that my work will help me to better control my emotions and mental state, so that I can achieve a perfect mental state.
