Carved Identity, is a project researching and reflecting upon my journey through the different nations that have moulded me.
Like the intricate details etched into a sculpture, our personal identities are carved with unique stories and experiences. Fashion allows us to showcase and celebrate these carvings, expressing a story that is uniquely our own through the clothes we wear and the styles we create.
I have been carved by my Cameroonian heritage, grew up in the German culture and I’m finding my purpose in England. This journey is significant to me and still relatable to many.
With my Prints, I’m not just expressing my mixed identity, but working on elevating traditional trades into the contemporary era.
Culture on the go!
I want this to be a brand that brings nations together, encourages curiosity and sparks great conversations.
I also call it ‘Abstract Identity’. We are all carved from different wood and that makes everyone unique.
My print collection is amplified by collages and is eclectic. The brand is in accordance with the luxury contemporary market.
