My thoughts and response to climate change forms the concept for my collection Dress as a Canvas of Awareness. Through a series of zero waste womenswear garments depicting my Textile Design Collection. I highlight the problems we face and reasons why we are experiencing climate change .
In response I took photos and created primary drawing of places I visited as well as the detritus of our world, plastic, animal skeletons, premature blooming flowers, factory fumes and myself as a part of it all.
I use responsible methods and materials (recycled polyester from used water bottles) to produce an easy to wear collection aimed at woman of all ages.
