Abby Macafee

Childhood Imagination is based around childhood memories and imagination, Macafee has explored this by using her personal childhood toys and reenacting some of the scenes she would imagine as a 6 year old playing with these toys. Macafee also explores the subject of gender specified toys, as a kid growing up in the early 2000’s Macafee would mainly play with what was seen as being boys toys such as cars, lego and action figures and not girls toys for example dolls and barbies.
