Final Major Project
Alex Willemburg is a British/South African media composer and sound designer most known for specialising in the fantasy and drama genre. Her passion for fairytales and classical training culminates in rich orchestral scores and soundscapes that seek to transport listeners to another time and place – both fictional and real.
Her Final Major Project is an amalgamation of the skills she has refined over the duration of her course:
- Music composition (an original score for a home-made vlog)
- Sound design (a fairytale soundscape titled Wisteria Hollow)
- Performance (collaborating with fellow musicians and providing vocals/guitar for their respective projects)
Through her work, she invites her audience to indulge in the beauty of the fantastical, the whimsical, and dare we say…the magical?
