As urbanization transforms Jimei Dashe, traditional gucuo have retreated from daily dwelling while building crafts face transmission rupture. Cultural heritage is withdrawing from everyday life into historical memory. Taking space and craftsmanship as dual pathways, this project explores the possibility for heritage to return to everyday life, while addressing the shortage of public space in high-density communities. Rather than a single spatial renewal, this mechanism creates a replicable network of heritage activation. It transitions gucuo from historical memory into public life, giving traditional crafts renewed vitality through participation, production, and daily use.
