Brass
Inspired by narrative structure, the two brass forms serve as a metaphor for a doomed, toxic, codependent relationship. The vase and candlestick want to be together, were made to be together, yet keep hurting each other as the warmth and light of the candle flame also threatens to burn the fragile flowers held within the vase. They cannot stop themselves.
