Arguing for authenticity in an age of simulation, this work adopts modernist principles to celebrate material honesty, personal attachment, and simple design. Art and function coexist in the same gesture. Details are structural; surfaces are tactile, and material irregularities reintroduce a sense of humanity, encouraging meaningful ownership over passive consumption.
