James Lord

James is a contemporary fine artist working across the fields of painting, sculpture, silkscreen and written word. His practice examines sustainability, intergenerational transmission and societal relationships with nature. The development of ideas comes through experimenting with materials and working with the discarded, found and overlooked. Methods of construction include using carpentry, assemblage, silkscreen and abstract painting. His work is expressive and shows vulnerability and conviction.
