Uncontrollable Emotion in the Inner Eye

Is about the emotions that we carry inside us and how sometimes they become difficult to control. I wanted this painting to show the inner world of a person, where diffrent emotions, thoughts and feelings are moving together.

The blue colour in the centre represent peace, calmness and the quiet part of our mind. As the colours move outside, they slowly change into yellow, orange and red. These warm colours show anger, stress, energy and strong emotions. This change from cool to warm colour represent how our emotions can suddenly change in everyday life.

For this artwork I used acrylic colour on canvas with different techniques like air blowing, brush strokes and texture. The air blow technique helped me create random and uncontrolled movements, which connect with the idea of uncontrollable emotions. I also used rough brush strokes and layered texture to give more depth and movement to the painting.

For me, the eye represents the way we see and experiance the world. Through this artwork, I wanted to show that even when we look calm from outside, there can be many strong and uncontrollable emotions happening inside us.
