This project is a visual exploration of Nanchang, my hometown. It combines digital photography and graphic design to capture the city‘s ordinary moments, and to reflect on how memory shapes our sense of place.
I have a strong interest in design. In my two-year undergraduate life, I have been exposed to and participated in many design cases and read many books about design. Film, television, visual and brand design are my specialist areas of interest.
I believe design needs feeling and emotion to connect with the audience. I can connect with an audience through developing creative designs, but built upon good research skills, understanding my target audience and subject matter.
I create my aesthetic to fit the client’s needs, and I hope to have new opportunities to continue studying design. I am in love with design because design has the ability to inform, inspire, and challenge to change the world. I want to deeply explore this field, which I consider my lifelong career.
