Laiba Anjum

 Unmoored is inspired by Farid ud-Din Attar’s literary work The Conference of the Birds and explores flight as an inward movement. Through fragmented self-portraits and recurring gestures, I see myself as one of Attar’s birds, still travelling rather than arriving, existing between where one has been and where one is becoming.
