IN TRANSIT is a narrative illustration project that revolves around the concept of liminality—the transitional state between reality and imagination, order and instability.

This project was developed based on my personal experiences with academic stress, anxiety, and emotional uncertainty in daily life. I became interested in environments such as trains, waiting areas, corridors, and temporary spaces, using them as psychological metaphors for disorientation and emotional suspension.

Through fragmented narratives, surreal characters, cyclical structures, and spatial imagery, the work constructs an unstable and drifting visual atmosphere. Instead of presenting a fixed narrative, the project invites viewers to traverse uncertain spaces that are both familiar and psychologically alienating.

In the development process, I combined digital illustration, 3D modeling, book production, and exhibition curation to extend the project beyond pure print. By blending physical and digital elements, I aimed to create an immersive experience that reflects the transformation, confusion, and emotional instability of contemporary life.

《IN TRANSIT》是一个叙事插画项目，围绕边缘性（liminality）这一概念展开——即存在于现实与想象、秩序与不稳定之间的过渡状态。

该项目基于个人对学业压力、焦虑和日常生活中情感不确定性的经历而发展。我对火车、候车区、走廊和临时空间等环境产生了兴趣，并用它们作为迷失方向和情感悬置的心理隐喻。

通过支离破碎的叙事、超现实的人物、循环结构和空间意象，作品构建出一种不稳定且漂泊的视觉氛围。该项目没有呈现固定叙事，而是邀请观众穿行于既熟悉又心理疏离的不确定空间。

在开发过程中，我结合了数字插画、3D建模、书籍制作和展览策划，将项目扩展到纯粹的印刷形式之外。通过融合实体与数字元素，我旨在创造一种沉浸式体验，反映当代生活中的转变、困惑和情感不稳定。
