How to Exorcise your Child aims to present mental health as a Chinese superstitious or folklore concept. It is aimed toward older Asian generations who may hold traditional beliefs that dismiss mental health issues. This project comes in the form of a book that is bound using Japanese stab binding and contains linocut printed talismans.
Storms of the Sun is my typographic response to the 2026 “Weather Dependent” ISTD brief. It delves into space weather, where solar activity affects conditions in space and can potentially wreak havoc on Earth. I challenged myself to use one font in one size and weight, using IBM Plex Mono in 8pt and “text” weight respectively.
