“Immersive Dreamscape” is an immersive installation that explores the unpredictable and elusive nature of dreams. Through the use of suspended forms, translucent fabrics, color, light, and light textures, the work transforms fragments of dreams, memories, and emotions into a tangible space. Viewers are invited to step into the dreamscape rather than merely observe it from the outside.

Suspended forms of different sizes, colours and textures represent individual and overlapping dream experiences. Each object becomes part of the dream, independent yet interconnected within the same subconscious space.

This painting is based on a recurring dream from my childhood. I often dream of being inside my elementary school building when a huge tsunami suddenly arrives. The disaster itself is not connected to my real-life experiences, but instead comes from disaster films and news images I watched as a child. These visual memories gradually remained within my subconscious and repeatedly reappeared through dreams. For me, the work reflects how fear and media imagery can shape imagined collective memories within the mind.
