“Neon Dawn: Uprising” deconstructs gender representation in superhero media through a 4-minute cyberpunk animation. Its “quadruple mirror” narrative follows five diverse protagonists, blending Asian motifs with degendered aesthetics. This interdisciplinary work combines film semiotics and gender theory to reconfigure entertainment media as tools for social change. The project merges rigorous research with immersive exhibition design, proposing new paradigms that prioritize human agency over technological determinism in cultural production.
