This thesis explores the potential of recycled plastic, primarily sourced from household and studio waste, as a versatile material in product design. By experimenting with various techniques, the research investigates efficient, affordable, and accessible recycling practices to transform discarded plastics into new products. The study emphasizes using basic tools and grassroots methods to create furniture, accessories, and industrial components, aiming to extend plastic’s lifespan and reduce environmental impact. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the thesis promotes sustainable design practices and provides guides that exhibit techniques to recycle plastic waste.
