This project investigates the body residue rubbed off the skin during washing. Through collection, microscopic observation, visual extraction and archival organisation, this everyday bodily material is translated into an illustration language. Using pink tones, translucent materials and microscopic textures, the work explores the traces left by the body through stress, cleaning behaviours and self-regulation. The final outcome is presented as a visual research system combining illustration,
archive and laboratory-like installation.
