Zak Lacey

Portsmouth is my home city. Before university, the only time in my life I had moved house was when I was a few months old. The house we moved into has been my home for my entire life. A life that had an anchor always holding it in place. I knew where I was and I knew who I was in that place. University was an opportunity for me to live somewhere different. During three years in the small town of Farnham I have changed and grown as a person, slowly learning what it means to be an adult. Now that my time in Farnham is coming to an end, I find myself returning to a place that is supposed to feel like home, yet I feel like a tourist of my own memories here.
