Aulasy is a sustainable journal, that explore topics that are sentimental to one person. Giving appreciation to the little things that hold an emotional significance, the first journal follows the story of my grandparents. Two people who loved each other unconditionally and explored areas of the world together. Through the colour blue, cyanotypes create the story through imagery and illustration.
Aulasy is defined as “the sadness that is created from sharing a memory with someone who doesn’t have the same attachment”
The journal is made using recycled paper and plantable paper. Cyanotype was the process that was used through the journal, which is more sustainable photography process by using sunlight and water. All then tied together with thread dyed by cabbages.
