The Nordhavn Nature Kindergarten is conceived as an experiential learning environment where outdoor spaces, landscape and animal care are integral to everyday education, fostering responsibility, empathy and environmental awareness.
Breaking down the institutional scale of the building into smaller volumes creates a more comfortable and child-friendly environment. Smaller and clearly defined spaces make the kindergarten easier for children to understand and navigate. This fosters a sense of safety and independence
