My practice moves between digital composition, collage and physical construction, with each informing the others. I collect fragments from photographs, architecture, surfaces, colours, geometric forms and found images, arranging and rearranging them until a structure begins to emerge.
I am drawn to interruption, misalignment and instability. Much of the work begins with simple geometric structures that are altered through layering, cropping, repetition and digital manipulation. I am interested in the point where order starts to break down and certainty gives way to ambiguity.
